State Fair

In August we went to the State Fair with my mom and our cousin Michael. Some of these are pretty cute. (Maybe I should have posted them six months ago, huh?)

  1. Yay! You’re back! Is that Noah smiling on a real not-a-donkey? Zoe looks way too comfortable on that tractor, probably time to hide the car keys. These are all cute pics, but the one of Colin just under Noah as a cow (?) just melted me.

My hat’s off to you. I took the kids to the fair every year until they were old enough to take themselves, but I never enjoyed it. I don’t think they knew that until many years later, but it was hot, noisy, expensive and I don’t like the rides, so if you can go and enjoy it with your children you’re a better woman than I am.

  2. Thanks for commenting, Susan! I can always count on you! It’s good to know that someone still cares whether or not I am updating the blog.

Yes, that is Noah on a real not-a-donkey. 🙂 They all seem to have overcome their fears of ponies and donkeys.

I love that pic of Colin, too. He’s just so stinkin’ handsome.

This fair trip was actually OK. I was really surprised they spent so much time on the tractors. They were really interested. That left less time for rides, which was a good thing since it cost $25 for eight of us to ride the ferris wheel. (I wish I was exaggerating.)

Thanks again for commenting. You’ve motivated me to post again. I’m going to go do it right now!
