Colin at 9 months

Colin had his 9-month check up two weeks ago. He was 28 inches long (between the 25th and 50th percentile) and 18 lbs, 10 oz (between the 10th and 25th percentile).

He says “mama” and “dada” (though he definitely says “dada” more often). He puts his hands in the air when we say, “Colin is SO BIG!” and he can give “fives.” He isn’t crawling yet, but he gets on his hands and knees and rocks, then ends up moving backwards. He has learned to pull up to stand, and now that is ALL he wants to do. He has even stood on his own for a few seconds at a time.

He FINALLY has two teeth on the bottom (I thought we were going to have to invest in baby dentures soon). The first one popped through the day he was 9-months-old, and the second came two weeks later.

He is such an amazing HAPPY baby.

  1. Wow! what a cutie. It’s hard for me to believe he’s nine months old already. I remember when Conin just became a part of your family. It seems like such a long time ago.

Dude, Molley is the same length, but 14 pounds. What a string bean! I never charted her – she must not register for weight.

BTW, I don’t think I have your PW. Can you email it to me, please?!

  2. Yeah for happy babies! Jammer didn’t get his first teeth until 9 1/2 months so don’t worry. The full set will show up soon enough.
