Tet Trung Thu celebration

Today we met with some other FCVN families in the area for a Tet Trung Thu celebration. It was a small informal gathering at a park. Most of the families have children who were adopted before Vietnam shut down to international adoptions in 2003. As their kids got older and got involved in other activities, the group became less and less active. Now that there are new families who have adopted since the program re-opened in 2005, it seems like maybe the group has been revived a bit. We really hope to be able to do more with them in the future.

Here’s a picture of Noah and Zoe with some of the other kids who were at the picnic:

  1. I just posted my Tet Trung Thu post as well! I enjoyed meeting your wonderful family. I had to copy this picture- my mom was dying to get in the car to listen to the end of the game!
